Job Title: Accounts Clerk & Project Administrator

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 Full-time

Flex Process Ltd are a Bristol based Process Engineering Professional Services Consultancy and we work across a multitude of engineering sectors, including Power & Energy, Chemical Manufacture, Pharmaceuticals, Heavy Industry & Steel Manufacture.

We currently have a great opportunity for a full time Accounts Clerk & Project Administrator. This is a key role within the business and will involve working across both the Finance and Project Management Functions.

This is a permanent role that would suit a detail orientated and highly adaptable individual who would relish the opportunity to exercise their extensive organisational skills across two key areas of a growing business.

Each day will be varied but broadly, the key responsibilities will cover the following:

Process and administer payroll and company expenses using Brightpay, NEST and Xero

Manage and process payments to internal and external stakeholders

Reconciliation of Bank Transactions on Xero, Completing VAT Returns, Maintaining Invoice Ledger and checking payments.

Raising invoices, remittances and Purchase Orders

Point of contact for all finance queries

Support the Project Teams by providing timely financial reports and administrative support

Emerging work delegated by the HR Manager as required.

Qualifications or Experience:

  • Essential experience with using Xero Accounting Software (Sage user will be considered).

  • Desirable experience with using Bright Pay Software.

  • AAT Intermediate Level 2.

  • Basic Accountancy Awareness (Profit and Loss, Balance sheet, etc).

  • High level of accuracy and excellent organisation skills.

  • Excellent IT skills particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
