Safe design of gas shut-off valves, site survey, process development and design of new plant.
Installation of new Slam Off Quick Acting Isolation Valves in a 400mm diameter high pressure gas feed to the turbines. Valves had to be located a minimum distance from the turbine with a dedicated downstream depressurisation vent that could reduce the pressure to 1 barg in less than 15 secs. All equipment had to be accessible for inspection and maintenance.
Development of a dynamic model to prove hydraulics and depressurisation times are met.
Process design package supported by HAZOP to underpin the detailed design work.
Pipework routing survey and location assessment for new equipment including groundworks for new platforms.
Detailed drawings for piping and structural work supported with stress analysis modelling.
