We will be attending Schneider Electric’s Engineering & Operational Excellence Forum in Madrid, 4 – 6 October. As well as taking part as members of the Dynsim Advisory Panel, we will also be presenting at the conference.
Senior simulation engineer Dr Ben Firth will be presenting case studies of our work using Dynsim in complex relief & flare studies. He will discuss the challenges and methodology involved in undertaking a study which follows API 521 guidance, while increasing the level of detail to generate more comprehensive answers. The work was deeply interesting, and we’re proud of the novel solutions we provided to allow legacy flare networks to remain in operation, despite plant expansion. The presentation is full of real-world cases modelled with dynamic simulation, which allowed the plant to be tested to its limits in a safe, virtual environment. The resulting debottlenecking work will also be included, so this certainly isn’t just for pressure relief specialists!
If you’re attending, please come find us. We hope to see you there!
